New Zealand rugby 7s supremo Gordon Tietjens has given another four youngsters the chance to stamp their mark on the world stage.

The 10th edition of the world 7s series kicks off in Dubai next Friday with New Zealand seeking a ninth title.

Fiji are the only nation to have won the series, breaking Tietjens stronghold in 2005/06 season.

The four sevens debutants this season are 21-year-old Paul Grant from Otago, 20-year-old Kurt Baker from Manawatu, 19-year-old Tim Williams from Counties Manukau and the youngest member of the team, Julian Savea, 18, from Wellington.

The other players in the final 12-man New Zealand squad are Tomasi Cama Junior, Zar Lawrence, Lote Raikabula, DJ Forbes, Solomon King, Tim Mikkelson, Willie Rickards and Nafi Tuitavake.

New Zealand will play the opening match at the Dubai 7s next Friday at 5:30pm.
