Four records have fallen today as the Day One of the FMF Chow Games comes to a close.

Suva, in their attempt to successfully defend their title once again this year have managed to break four records.

After 16 years, the Under 9 record in the 75 metre sprint set by Inia Vidovi of Nadroga, was today broken by 8 yr-old Sakeasi Kaitoga of Suva in a time of 10.11 seconds.

In the girls Under 13, Suva athlete Elenoa Sailosi set a new record of 25.95 in the 200metrs, breaking a 5 yr-old record set by Cakaudrove sprinter, Sera Tuinalase.

In the Long Jump, Sekope Tuilevu set a new record of 5.39 metres. The Suva A relay team also broke the national record in the Girls' 4 by 100metrs Under 13 relay with a time of 51.9 seconds.

In the girls division: Suva lead with 7 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze with Taveuni in second with 3 gold and 2 bronze and Lautoka in third spot with 2 gold and 1 Bronze.

In the boys division, Suva claim the first spot with 9 gold and 8 silver, Nadroga in the running with 2 gold and 2 silver and Taveuni have 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 bronze.
