The death of a 27 year old whose body was found floating in Denarau Marina yesterday morning is being looked into by police.

Police confirmed the body has been identified and the deceased is from Namotomoto Village and he was a boat captain.

Foul play is not being ruled out at this stage.

The post mortem is expected to be conducted tomorrow.

Meanwhile, five people have been questioned at the Nabua Police Station after they allegedly tried to rob a pay clerk yesterday afternoon in Vatuwaqa.

The pay clerk was returning from the bank with $20,000 in wages for the workers when upon reaching their destination, a vehicle stopped behind them.

Police said the five wearing masks, were armed with assorted weapons including pinch bars, knives, broken beer bottles and rods and were about to attack the pay clerk when two vehicles from the Police Strike Back team arrived at the scene and surrounded the men. They were apprehended with all the weapons.
