The Chairman of the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum has stressed that the forum will continue to take the path for Fiji to have elections by December this year as agreed in PNG.
Niue Premier Toke Talagi had also told Radio Australia that people in Fiji need to realize that they will not suspend Fiji people but the interim government from the forum for not following the forum's ultimatum.
Meanwhile, Commodore Bainimarama stands firm that the forum cannot pressure Fiji to have elections.
Talagi said Bainimarama should sit back and assess the Forum's decision and engage with them to have elections.
He also denies that Australia, NZ and Samoa shoved the decision against Fiji down the throats of the Pacific leaders in the PNG Forum.
