The Pacific Island Leaders Forum should review its position on Fiji.
Those were the words of acting Prime Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who said their efforts towards true democracy should be looked at.
Sayed-Khaiyum also said that Fiji is willing to talk and engage with the Forum.
This is after Fiji was suspended from the Forum on Friday night, confirmed in a statement by Forum Chair and Premier of Niue, Toke Talagi.
Talagi said the decision was agreed unanimously between all Forum leaders at a Retreat in Port Moresby in January this year, responding to Commodore Frank Bainimarama's failure to address constructively by 1st May, 2009, the expectations of Forum Leaders to return Fiji to democratic governance in an acceptable time frame.
