Former boxing champion Pauliasi Ratu has been selected to coach the Fiji boxing team to the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea.
Boxing Fiji's secretary Asinate Nanovo said that Ratu was endorsed by AIBA to coach the team.
Meanwhile, Nanovo has confirmed that clubs not currently affiliated with the National Federation can register prior to the trials tomorrow.
She said only boxers and clubs affiliated to Boxing Fiji will be permitted to participate in the trials with an affiliation fee of $20.
Nanovo added that boxers who think they are capable of being selected to represent Fiji to the Pacific Games are asked to bring their passport and 2 passport size photos tomorrow.
The Pacific Games will be held from the 4th to the 18th of July.
