A former accounts clerk at the Fiji Police Headquarters pleaded guilty to 36 counts of forgery, uttering forged documents, obtaining money on false pretence and larceny.

Police Prosecutor Sergeant Dalip Kumar told the court that 24 year old Anare Johnson forged the signatures of Station Officers based at various Police stations including Suva, Levuka, Navua and withdrew over $1300 on various occasions in August 2003.

Chief Magistrate Naomi Matanitobua has adjourned the case till next Wednesday for mitigation.
