A former Rewa rep has been chosen as interim president for the Rewa soccer team.

Dhiren Kewal who was also a former referee has replaced Yogeshwar Singh.

Singh has opted to step down as Rewa soccer boss after Fiji Football association made a decision earlier this year that all Fiji FA Vice President’s should choose between this position and leading soccer associations.

Rewa soccer's media officer and former President Yogeshwar Singh said Dhiren Kewal will be elected as president for the term of four years before the Vodafone Fiji Fact next month.

Meanwhile, in the National soccer league matches this weekend Rewa will host Navua on Sunday at 3pm while Lautoka takes on Suva at Churchill Park.

On Saturday Labasa will play Savusavu at 1.30pm at Subrail Park.
