Former journalist, Raymond Singh will be sentenced this morning after five assessors for the case yesterday, unanimously found him guilty of murdering his wife.
High Court Judge, Justice Daniel Goundar made the ruling as
the High Court heard that on May 11th 2008, Singh had a heated argument with his wife at their Ragg Avenue home following which, neighbours heard a cry for help and glass breaking inside the house.
Soon after, Singh's wife's body was found inside the house in a pool of blood by neighbors who were alerted by the cry for help.
Singh was arrested at his father's house where he took his two children after the incident.
He will be sentenced at 11.30 this morning.
