A former Clerk of Wainikoro Fisheries Co-operative today pleaded guilty to six counts of larceny by servant in the Labasa Magistrates Court after being charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption.

Savenaca Labavuka admitted to stealing money from the co-operative on six various occasions before Magistrate Anare Tuilevuka who advised him to seek legal assistance as these were serious charges leveled against him.

However, Labavuka insisted on representing himself and the matter is adjourned to November 14th when he is expected to be sentenced.

Labavuka, between May 2005 and July 2005 stole money amounting to over $3000.
