Ba Police are investigating a case where a 41 year old former Ba soccer player and manager died after he was run down by a locomotive yesterday.
Meli Vaka, who was also a vernacular commentator for Navtarang and Radio Sargam, died instantly near the Rarawai Sugar Mill.
Initial police investigations have revealed that Vaka was lying on the railway line when the incident took place.
Police are expected to question the locomotive driver soon.
