Six foreign nationals charged with alleged fraud and visa credit scam are expected to appear in the Nadi Magistrates court this afternoon.

They were charged after they were allegedly found with several fake visa cards and remain in custody at the Nadi police station as prosecution officers await charges to be filed before they are produced in court later today.

The six, include two local Chinese nationals, two Hong Kong and two Malaysians are alleged to have used fake visa cards to purchase duty free items from outlets in Suva, Sigatoka and Nadi where they were arrested after intensive police investigations.

Police said that several other individuals are also believed to be involved in the alleged visa card racket and further arrests are expected to soon.
