A Foreign Company has shown interest in owning and operating the major Airports around the country after mutual agreement with the interim government.
While speaking on a talkback show on our sister station Radio Sargam yesterday afternoon Interim Transport Minister, Manu Korovulavula revealed they are seriously considering the Buy Own Operate and Transfer Concept.
He says this concept is used around the world in major projects like roading, airports as well as seaports.
However, Korovulavula says the green light will only be given once the foreign company complies with the safety requirements.
