In light of damage suffered to farm areas from severe flooding, the Agriculture Ministry said one of their main aims is to assess areas where food security is at risk then supply farming equipment.
Permanent Secretary, Dr Richard Beyer said they plan to purchase, gather through appeals and then distribute farming equipment to help people get back on their feet in the Agricultural areas.
Beyer also said they are waiting for the assessment report on the impact of damage on the agriculture industry and will come to a figure on how much initial damages cost later.
