All teams are ready to start dispatching food rations to people sheltering in various evacuation centres in the Western Division.
This has been confirmed by the Commissioner Western Joeli Rokovada, who said the ten evacuation centres in Nadi where 596 people are at will be receiving their food rations in time for dinner tonight.
Rokovada said they are working closely with the military who will be responsible for the distributions.
He added his officials are closely monitoring the situation in Nadi town.
