The divisional traffic officer western said that most of the road accidents are caused because of the attitudes of drivers.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Richard Raju said now that the cane cutting season has started, he is urging lorry drivers to follow the road rules while loading cane onto cane trucks.
ASP Raju added that their officers will be on the roads again and anyone found breaking the law will be seriously dealt with.
