Police are trying to locate the mother of a foetus which was found in a compound in Yalalevu, Ba, this morning.
Assistant spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita has confirmed that the fully formed foetus was found by a 53 year old woman which was wrapped in a plastic bag and left in her compound.
The discovery was made after the family dog was seen playing with the plastic in which the foetus was wrapped.
Police are calling on members of the public for information.
