Police are investigating the discovery of a foetus in Navakai, Nadi yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Corporal Josaia Weicavu, confirmed that the foetus was found trapped in a sewerage pipe and was discovered by PWD workers who were trying to clear the pipe blockage.
Police are trying to deterime the sex of the foetus as they try and start the task of looking for the woman responsible.
Police are also calling on members of the public for information.
