Digicel Fiji Sevens coach Iliesa Tanivula wants to end this season on a high note.
He has already achieved his goal by guiding Fiji to victories in Hong Kong and Scotland in the 2008/09 IRB World Sevens Series and helped Fiji retain the World Games Sevens gold medal last weekend in Taiwan.
Tanivula's remaining task for this season is to help Fiji maintain its number one ranking in the Pacific Islands and guide the team to win the Mini Pacific Games gold medal against teams like Samoa, the Cook Islands and Papua New Guinea.
He said the players have been given a few days rest after returning from Taiwan and from next week the preparation for the Mini Pacific Games should begin.
Tanivula said before he names his final 12, the 18 players he has selected will be assessed.
The Mini Pacific Games will be held in September in the Cook Islands.
