A discount on rates and extending the deadlines to pay, may be a possibility for businesses since they have been greatly affected by the floods last month.

These are two of the areas Ba and Tavua Special Administrator Arun Prasad would like to focus on during his term in charge of the two councils.

Prasad said he will also hold meetings to gauge the needs and requirements of ratepayers before coming up with possible solutions.
