Terminated Fiji National Provident Fund Deputy General Manager Foana Nemani is seeking a judicial review of the FNPF Board's decision to dismiss her from her post.
It has been confirmed that Lawyers representing Nemani filed the legal papers on the grounds that Nemani was unlawfully dismissed from her post by the board.
She is also seeking compensation for her early removal and defamation based on allegations of abuse of office.
Nemani was terminated by the FNPF Board earlier this year following allegations of abuse of members’ funds and abuse of office highlighted in an internal investigation report.
The case will be called this morning before the Master of the High Court J. Udit.
