The freezing cold weather conditions in France have not affected the Flying Fijians team=s preparation ahead of their opening Test match on Sunday morning.

High Performance Unit, Manager Talemo Waqa has confirmed it was freezing this morning with rain making matters worse for the players during their training run.

Waqa added most of the Europe based players are used to the weather and the local players are adjusting slowly to the climate in France.

The temperature in Nantes (Nont), where the team is based is 5 degrees Celsius today.

He said management has made a decision on who will be captain for the Europe Tour and this will be officially announced on Thursday morning however head coach Sam Domoni will name the team on Friday night.

The Flying Fijian meet France on Sunday at 6am.
