We will play for them.
These were the words of Vodafone Flying Fijians halfback Nikola Matawalu after their visit to the children’s ward at the CWM hospital earlier today.
Parents and patients had tears in their eyes as the Flying Fijians gave rugby balls and snacks to the children.
Matawalu said the visit has enabled them to feel what the patients are going through and this will be one of the motivating factors for them when they take on Samoa.
Meanwhile, team manager Aseri Rokoura confirmed to Fijivillage that prop Isei Colati has been ruled out because of an injury while Waisea Nayacalevu is still nursing a niggling injury.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will take on Samoa at 3pm Saturday and you can catch the live commentary of this match on our sister station VitiFMm.
