The FMF Flying Fijians will improve its world rankings after beating Wales 38-34 yesterday to qualify for the Rugby World Cup quarterfinals.

Fiji is currently ranked 11th in the world but is likely to go into 8th place which is currently occupied by the Welsh side.

The International Rugby Board will release the latest rankings later today.

Scotland is also likely to improve after beating Italy and making it to the last eight. Scotland is ranked 10th and Italy 9th at the moment.

Meanwhile in today's final round of Pool Games at the World Cup South Africa thrashed USA 64-15, France beat Georgia 64-7 and Argentina defeated Ireland 30-15.

The first quarterfinal on Sunday at 1am will see Australia take on England and then at 7am New Zealand plays France.

On Sunday at 1am South Africa meets Fiji and at 7am Argentina take on Scotland.
