Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee says they have stepped up their preparations ahead of their third Rugby World Cup match against Wales next Friday.

McKee says they have moved into their new team base in Wales and have held their review meetings.

McKee says they will monitor the England and Wales match and will work on their game plan.

France‑based Timoci Nagusa will join the Fiji squad to replace wing Waisea Nayacalevu who has been ruled out after sustaining a knee injury.

Fiji’s next Pool A fixture is against Wales at Millennium Stadium next Friday.

Meanwhile, Argentina got their Rugby World Cup campaign back on track when they beat Georgia 54‑9 in their Pool C clash this morning.

Still on RWC, Jean de Villiers believes South Africa’s Pool B match against Samoa tomorrow is about repairing a “broken nation” – not just the Springboks’ 2015 Rugby World Cup hopes.

Captain De Villiers drew much of the criticism in the wake of his side’s defeat against Japan in their opener last weekend.

The 34‑year‑old even admitted that he expected to be dropped following his part in the Springboks’ poor start.

But head coach Heyneke Meyer has stood by his skipper for the Villa Park clash with the Pacific Islanders.

De Villiers has been disappointed with the reaction to the loss, with many quarters turning on the team in a fierce wave of criticism in South Africa.

In tomorrow’s matches, Italy will play Canada at 1.30am, South Africa face Samoa at 3.45am, England face Wales at 7am while Australia clash with Uruguay at 11pm.
