Flying Fijians shift focus to Samoa match
Flying Fijian Captain, Domoniko Waqaniburotu said following their very physical game against Tonga, they are expecting a very tough encounter against Samoa.
Yesterday, the national side had to struggle in the first half as Tonga ran rampant running in three tries in the first fifteen minutes of play.
Speaking after their game yesterday, Waqaniburotu said they know that their next game against Samoa will be tough, especially since the Samoans had a surprise 11-28 loss to Japan yesterday.
At the moment, the Flying Fijians top the PNC Points Table with 9 points and will be taking on second placed Samoa, who have the likes of Mikaele Pesamino and Lolo Lui who helped their national 7s team clinch the 2009/2010 IRB 7s World Series.
Equal in second place are Japan and Samoa on four points each.
