Fiji has recorded their highest score in rugby history after thumping the Cook Islands 108-6 registering a total of 17 tries in their 2015 Rugby World Cup Oceania qualifier match.

The Flying Fijians will now join England, Wales and Australia in next year’s Rugby World Cup in England.

Replacement halfback Nikola Matawalu and Crusaders winger Nemani Nadolo again showed their brilliance after scoring three tries each.

Adriu Delai and Metuisela Talebula scored two tries each while Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Nemani Nagusa, Leroy Atalifo, Akapusi Qera, Watisoni Votu, Nemia Kenatale and Asaeli Tikoirotuma scored a try each.

The Cooks were leading 6-5 in the 21st minute of the first half after Sam Vaevae kicked their only points with two penalties.

At half time Fiji was leading 29-6 before their replacements rattled the visitors.

The Flying Fijians will now set their sights on the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England.
