The Fiji Rugby Union has today confirmed that players in the Vodafone Fiji 15s team are being paid on a fortnightly basis.
Chief Executive Officer, Radrodro Tabualevu says the players received their allowances last Friday.
Tabualevu says the $100,000 received from Vodafone yesterday has also gone into the Rugby World Cup account to look after all the expenses.
Tabualevu says these are professional players and according to their contract, the amount they receive in allowances will remain confidential.
