The Flying Fijian camp has been hit with injuries and the unavailability of players with only three days of training left for the opening Pacific Nation Cup game against Japan.

Manager Semi Rogoyawa has confirmed that the latest injury casualty is Rupeni Caucau who has been told by the team doctors he will be out of rugby for a month.

Caucau joined fly half Wise Luveniyali who is also sidelined for 3 months.

Rogoyawa added that they are still waiting for the arrival of Sisa Koyamaibole and Napolioni Nalaga who were expected to arrive yesterday but they have not heard a word from both of them.

Stormers winger Sireli Naqelevuki will join the team on Thursday.

Coach Samu Domoni Junior is expected to make close to ten changes with Deacon Manu, Jone Qovu, Wise Luveniyali, Rupeni Caucau, Saula Radidi, Sireli Bobo and Dan Rawaqa, ruled out for this Saturday's PNC game.

Rogoyawa added that this is a challenge especially for local players to show their worth in the national team.
