The Flying Fijians have hit back in style defeating Samoa 36-18 in the Pacific Nations cup this afternoon.

The Samoans started the match on a high with a try to winger, Sailosi Tagicakibau.

However, Fiji ran in five tries to Dan Rawaqa, Sekonaia Kalou, Vereniki Goneva, Campese Ma'afu and Ravai Fatiaki to seal the much needed bonus point win.

Fiji led 17-11 at half time and kept the composure in the second half to keep the Samoans at bay.

Flying Fijians Technical Advisor, Gregg Mumm said his players put up a good show after the dismal performance last week.
