Flying Fijians heading in right direction-Rauluni
Rauluni says while they still expect critics to come down hard on the players after the win over Canada, it does not help the side as they prepare of the match against Wales.
Team coach Ilivasi Tabua was satisfied with another victory today and says the good is that none of the players recieved any injury.
No.8 Sisa Koyamaibole, who also played a good game today says he was happy with the performance of the team.
Tries from Kele Leawere, Kameli Ratuvou and Vilimoni Delasau saw Fiji beat the Canadians by 29 points to 16. Nicky Little also contributed 12 points by kicking a penalty and converting the three of the four tries. Fiji remains on course for what is likely to be a winner takes all contest against Wales on 30th September. FMF Flying Fijians next match will be against Australia on next Monday at 12:30am.
Meanwhile, Wallabies five-eighth Stephen Larkham is expected to de sidelined until World Cup semi-finals after undergoing an operation today.
His comeback, should Australia qualify for the knockout match, would be the first semi-final in Paris on October 13.
The 90-minute operation revealed that, as expected, he had not sustained any new injury but had aggravated an old problem, which showed that there was loose matter behind the right kneecap, which was removed.
It is a slight relief for Australia, who initially feared the worst after Larkham aggravated the chronic knee injury in kicking practice on Friday and then it locked up again that night.
There will be no World Cup matches tomorrow, the next match will commence at 7am on Wednesday morning between Scotland and Romania.
