Flying Fijians focused

As excitement builds amongst all the supporters, the Vodafone Flying Fijians are focused on what they have to do tomorrow.

All the players have said that the game against England will be tough.

Although some have written Fiji off, block-busting wing, Nemani Nadolo says they will never forget this moment and will make it a memorable one.

Fiji coach John McKee believes that the national side should stick with what they have been working on and play with passion.

England coach Stuart Lancaster is confident they can handle the threat that Fiji poses and they will be backed by the home support in Twickenham.

Lancaster said this is the strongest English team he has assembled to take on Fiji.

Our second pool opponent is Australia.

The Wallabies have been quiet for the past week or so but some are predicting that they could get out of their pool and their best finish could see them in the final.

Wallabies flyhalf, Quade Cooper said he is ready to play in the World Cup.

Wales and Uruguay will also give their best shot in the pool of death and will definitely not hold back when they play their opponents.

Meanwhile World Cup holders, New Zealand are aiming to win their first World Cup tournament on foreign soil.

All Blacks coach, Steve Hanson said their catch cry again this year is expect the unexpected. 

Richie McCaw said they are underestimating no team and they are ready.

All Blacks flyhalf Dan Carter has also warned England to beware of giant wing, Nemani Nadolo as they will also be supporting Fiji in their Rugby World Cup opener against England tomorrow.

The New Zealand five‑eighth has spent the past two seasons playing alongside Nadolo at the Crusaders, witnessing first-hand the havoc caused by the 127kg, 196cm giant who was the top try‑scorer in the 2014 Super Rugby campaign.

Carter said Nadolo is a bit of a freak, a huge man, but is also very skillful, a quality player and the one to watch.

Fiji will take on England in the Opening Rugby World Cup match at 7am tomorrow.

The opening ceremony starts at 6am and ends at 6.20am.

There will be allocated space around the stadium for the two teams to have their warm-up before the big match.

Our Viti FM Breakfast Show character, Babu Mali has today released a new song for the Vodafone Flying Fijians called Running In With The Ball.

Babu said the Rugby World Cup is always a special occasion for all Fijians and he decided to sing a special song for the team.
