Flying Fijians dismiss Tanivula’s comments
Iliesa Tanivula in one of the dailies today said that Bobo is unfit, and shouldn't have been included in the squad to face Wales in the deciding World Cup match on Sunday.
FRU's Peter Murphy said Bobo is fit and the management staffs know their jobs better, who to include and who to drop.
Murphy said such comments by Tanivula are baseless and instead of demoralizing the team they should back the team for this most important clash.
Murphy said the spirit in camp is high and players will go out firing against Wales.
The FMF Flying Fijians / Wales match will kick off on Sunday at 3am.
Meanwhile, Wales lock Ian Evans will put all thoughts of health and safety to the back of his mind, when he faces Fiji on Sunday.
The clash in Nantes will be Evan's first start of any team since December after he suffered a dislocated shoulder and then injured his collar-bone.
Evans said that he is most definitely ready and more than confident and ready to get into the big mix of the game.
Evans adds that there are alot of risk assessments to be made on the rugby field, and he knows that Fiji will be physical and confrontational in the first 20 minutes and that they are more than ready for it.
Sunday's clash is a World Cup eliminator. The victors go on to meet South Africa in the quarterfinals and the losers go home.
The Wales/FMF Flying Fijians match kicks off at 3am on Sunday.
