Flying Fijians can reach RWC semis-Coach
With a year left from the opening pool game against Namibia in the 2011 World Cup, Domoni told key rugby stake holders today that he believes Fiji can reach the semifinal spot.
He added that while we are in a "pool of death" with defending champion South Africa, Pacific neighbors Samoa, along with Wales and Namibia, we have shown in the past that we can match the big boys of rugby.
National trainer, Naca Cawanibuka who is assigned to prepare the team for the assignment, believes that we have the resources the team did not enjoy in 2007.
And with an aim to do Fiji proud, FRU lottery director Kenneth Zinck has called on the rugby nation to get behind the team in trying to raise $2 million dollars for the boys.
Zinck said that while they face difficulties in trying to sell the ticket, we should always remember that this is our team who will be flying the national flag in New Zealand.
Fiji's opening pool game next year in the World Cup is against Namibia on the 24th of September.
