The Flying Fijians remain in 10th place in the IRB World Rugby rankings, despite beating Japan by 24 points 12 last weekend.

But Fiji is now just 0.15 rating points behind Scotland which sits in 9th place. Before the match in Tokyo, Fiji had been 0.62 rating points adrift of Scotland.

Japan fell one place in the rankings to 16th. Australia A's 90-7 defeat of Tonga and New Zealand Maori's 17-6 win over Samoa did not affect Tonga or Samoa's rankings as they were not playing against full senior sides in either case.

Meanwhile, New Zealand's 44-12 victory over England last weekend sees them remain in second place in the rankings, but they have moved 0.08 rating points closer to South Africa, who occupy top spot.
