With only ten days remaining for the FMF Flying Fijians first pool game against Japan, the team management is going back to basics of scrummaging and line-outs and polishing up their set pieces.
Speaking to Village sports, FMF Flying Fijians Captain Mosese Rauluni said after a good outing in the Pacific Nations Cup, they know that Japan will not be an easy team to beat.
The Fiji / Japan match will be played next Thursday at 4am.
Meanwhile Australia which is also in Fiji's pool will open their World Cup campaign against Japan on Sunday. Team manager Michael Easman said all the top guns will take the field so that they start the tournament on a high note.
The opening match on Saturday at 7am will be played between France and Argentina then at 11:45pm All Blacks take on Italy.
Early Sunday at 1:45am Australia plays Japan and at 4am England meets USA.
