Speaking to Fijivillage, FRU chairman Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said part of the cost has been funded by the International Rugby Board and airfares will be subsidized with the contract with Air Pacific.
In addition, the FRU has sponsors that will be providing footwear and jerseys.
Tikoitoga also confirmed that due to financial constraints, they were unable to bring all players together to prepare for the upcoming tests.
We also asked Tikoitoga if the 11 officials traveling with the team is reasonable.
Tikoitoga said they have to send these officials.
The officials include head coach Inoke Male, assistant coaches Alivereti Mocelutu and Viliame Satala while Cameron Blades is the scrum coach.
Other officials include Nacanieli Cawanibuka, Isireli Maka, Emosi Taloga, William Koong, Aseri Rokoura, Semi Rogoyawa and FRU CEO Manasa Baravilala.
Fiji will play England in a sold out match on the 11th of next month, then Gloucester on the 14th, Ireland A on the 18th and Georgia on the 25th.
