Children and the elderly should be well looked after in this cold season.
This is the advice from the Fiji College of General practitioners president, Dr. Ram Raju after a notable increase of people coming to clinics who have flu like symptoms.
He has called on parents to ensure that children and the elderly members of the family are kept warm during this weather.
Meanwhile, Acting Director for the Nadi Weather office, Alipate Waqaicelua confirmed more cooler days are expected as the temperature is expected to be as low as 13 degrees in many places around the country at night.
