Flour/Sharps price to increase
The Prices and Incomes Board has announced that supply constraints of Wheat in the World Market has pushed up the price of wheat and flour.
Effective from tomorrow, the Price of 2kg Flour that is $2.44 will cost $2.58, 4 kg flour price will go up from $4.98 to $5.26 while 10kg bags will be $12.86 and increase from $12.16.
As for Sharps, 2kg pack will go up from $2.46 to $2.60, 4kg pack to cost $5.29, an increase by 28 cents while a 10kg pack that costs $12.24 now can be bought for $12.94, come tomorrow.
A 17 kg Breakfast Crackers tin which cost $48.11 today will cost $52.41 from tomorrow while the 375g packet price goes up from $1.09 to $1.19.
Looking at the Price of Cabin Crackers :- a 17 kg tin will cost $48.91 compared to today’s $44.39 while the 185kg packet price will be 60 cents, an increase of 5 cents.
The prices come into effect from mid night tonight.
