Further good news for consumers as prices of normal flour and sharps are to reduce from tomorrow.

This has been announced by the Prices and Incomes Board, a kg of normal flour will now cost $1.08 from $1.23, a decrease of 15c, a 5kg bag will now be $5.41 from $6.16, a decrease of 75c and a 10kg bag will now cost $10.92 from $12.41, a decrease of $1.49.

A kg if Sharps will now cost $1.09 from $1.23, a decrease of 14c, a 5kg bag will now be $5.46 from $6.20, a decrease of 74c and a 10kg bag will now cost $11.02 from $12.49, a decrease of $1.47.

The PIB said this due to decreases in raw material costs adding that at this stage price movement is vulnerable to the current weather conditions affecting wheat sowing and harvest.

These prices are for the cities of Suva and Lautoka, towns of Ba, Lami, Nadi, Sigatoka, Tavua, Nausori and Nasinu.
