The extreme weather conditions have claimed another life after a young boy was washed away by strong currents this afternoon in Lautoka.
Deputy Police Operations SP Erami Raibe confirmed to Fijivillage that the class 8 student was trying to cross a flooded road in Lautoka when he was swept away by strong currents.
His body is yet to be recovered.
