Villagers of Naivucini, Naitauvoli, Nadovu, Nuku, Lutu, Waibasaga and Monasavu are not able to take their products across to the market today because of the flooded Naivucini bridge.

A villager, Sainimili Maravu said when her family got up this morning, they noticed their dalo farms were washed away due to the heavy rain last night.

Maravu said the sight of the flooded bridge at Naivucini is similar to the devastation left by Cyclone Mick last December.   

She said PWD workers are currently working to clear the Naivucini bridge.
