In Nadi, the Town Clerk, Robin Ali has warned residents to take extra care as the current downpour in the area could result in the town being flooded again.
Ali also said they cannot control the number of people coming into the town area to scavenge for damaged food that has been thrown out of the shops.
He is asking people not to take it as it would be contaminated.
People are facing problems in cleaning their shops in Ba as there is no water and electricity.
Vinod Patel Hardware Owner, Vinod Patel said people are trying to get water from nearby rivers and creeks to clean the town. He said it is still raining heavily in Ba.
