The flash flood warning is still in place for the Central/Eastern and Western Division as heavy swells continues in most parts of the group.
The Nadi Weather Office Director, Rajendra Prasad said a trough of low pressure is currently over Viti Levu which is slowly moving eastwards. He said Vanua Levu will also be affected by this system in the next few days.
Prasad said this weather is linked to the Tropical Depression in the South of Papua New Guinea which has is expected to form into a Tropical Cyclone soon, however he stressed that this system poses no threat to the Fiji Group.
