Flood warning remains in force

With flood waters rising as high as 6 feet, the businesspeople of Nadi are already feeling the loss of damages to their shops.

The road from Nadi to Lautoka and the Nadi Back Road remain closed.
Meanwhile the Rewa River is also rising.
People living around Suva and parts of Nasinu will have to wait until tomorrow morning for water supply to normalize in their area.
The Water Supply Department said that water supply in Cunningham, Nagatugatu, Savutalele, Newtown, Upper Makoi, Tovata will normalize by tomorrow morning while water supply in Raiwaqa and Kinoya has partially normalized.
Meanwhile water supply in Lami and Deuba areas is expected to normalize by tonight.
