The taskforce appointed to oversee rehabilitation work following last month's floods are waiting for the approval of their consolidated report by the Interim Prime Minister.
National Planning Permanent Secretary Peter Wise said the report which was tabled before Cabinet last week has been forwarded to the Prime Minister's office for approval, for further funding to be used for the repair work of infrastructure which has been badly damaged by the floods.
Wise said there is a likelihood that there will be redeployment of funds from different ministries.
The task force is made up of the Permanent Secretaries for Works, National Planning, Health and Agriculture.
The estimated costs to infrastructure were at $16.6 million.
