Flood waters have started receding in Wainadoi.
Police Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri had confirmed the officers are now inspecting the flooded areas and are accessing the damages.
He said flood waters also went into some of the houses in Wainadoi village and people are now cleaning their houses.
Meanwhile, Fiji Metrological Services Director said people need to be aware that we are approaching November and can expect heavy rainfall and flash flooding.
Rajend Prasad said a trough of low pressure is situated over the Southern parts of the country which is responsible for the weather pattern.
