Flood Warning Still In Place
Deputy DISMAC Director, Patiliai Dobui said the news that they are receiving from Nadi is not good and the warning is still in force for the whole of the Western division, the Central division as well as the Western division.
He advises people in the Western, Northern and Central division to take the weather reports seriously and take precautions.

There is still no confirmation from the DISMAC office in Nausori on the number of houses and people in the province of Naitasiri and Rewa that are affected by the flash flooding.
Our reporter Roneel Lal spoke to the Provincial Adminstrator in Tailevu, Semisi Kuata who has confirmed that 3 teams from DISMAC office are on the ground to get first hand report from the areas affected by flooding.
A total of 1200 people are in 22 evacuation centres in Nausori, Naitasiri and the Rewa delta.
Flood waters in Koronivia road is slowly receding however situation in Nakaikogo and other villages remain the same as some areas are still under flood waters.
