Message In A Bottle.
A 6yr old girl of Valley Rd Sigatoka felt so helpless during the floods, she wrote a note in a 600ml sprite bottle and set it adrift.
The bottle drifted into the sea and ended up on a beach at Beqa Island where Lawaki Beach House Staff, Sulueti Wati, found the bottle and its contents on the 13th of January.
Wati said she was only informed of the girl's safety when Fijivillage News contacted Namisha last night and relayed the good news to her. Wati said she felt helpless at being all the way in Beqa and not being able to help however she is happy Namisha and her family are safe and have gotten some form of help from the government.
Fijivillage News also called Namisha Ram who said they have received help which came two days ago when food rations were delivered.
