People living in low lying areas of Navua, Suva, Nausori, Kadavu and Southern Lau have been called to take precautions as there is a possibility of localized flash flooding later today.

Nadi Weather office said a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over the southwestern parts of Fiji. This low pressure system lies in the group for more than a week now which is moving South-West.

Occasional rain, heavy at times and a few thunderstorms over Southwest Viti Levu, Kadavu, Southern Lau and the interior and Eastern part of the larger islands is expected in the afternoon and evenings.
